There's a lot of talk about LED lighting and other "super technologies". But compact fluorescent light bulbs use a quarter as much electricity as incandescent bulbs and last ten times as long.

So how long are you going to wait for a "perfect" technology? Why not be green *now*?

Note: BC Hydro doesn't burn coal, but does import electricity from Alberta, and Alberta burns a lot of coal to produce its power.
